Michael Weber

Website, club platform and app for a coach

Michael Weber spent 15 years in competitive sport and now works as a sparring partner for healthy habits. For him we built a new website, a platform of his own for his Commitment Club and STRIKER, a weekly app for iPhone and the web.

01

Problem

The old website ran on WordPress, the Commitment Club on Skool, a rented platform. Michael wanted to own his club: members, content, payments, data. And habit apps often fail at the same point: whoever loses a streak gives up.

02

Approach

The website is generated from Michael's own copy, in the look of a stadium at night; a test keeps his face on every hero image clear of navigation and headline. The club replaces Skool completely: community, courses, a calendar with a subscription feed, direct messages, live calls on Cloudflare Realtime with recordings, push notifications and payments through Payrexx. STRIKER deliberately has no streak to lose: one commitment a week, signed with a finger, seen by one person you choose. On the iPhone widget you tick off the day without opening the app.

03

Outcome

Website and club run at michaelweber.pages.dev and are moving to michaelweber.swiss. STRIKER is online as a web app and in public beta on TestFlight.
