Benjamin Zweifel

An artist's catalogue raisonné and a stove builder's website

Benjamin Zweifel has built storage stoves and fireplaces since 2006, and he is an artist: he turned a fighter jet's drop tank into a rocket stove. For both sides we built two websites, a catalogue raisonné with a timeline for every piece and an editorial system he runs from Telegram.

01

Problem

Every piece has a story that runs over years: from the found object through the build to the place it stands today. On an ordinary website that gets lost. And someone standing in the workshop does not sit down at a content management system.

02

Approach

benjaminzweifel.ch shows the works like a museum catalogue: each with its inventory number, its material and dimensions, and a dated timeline. Every piece gets a plaque with a QR code that leads to its page; the target can be changed at any time, and the plaques are exported as vector files for the laser. Content comes in through Telegram: Benjamin sends a photo or a voice note in Swiss German, and the bot writes a text in standard German and corrects the image's perspective and light. One bot serves both brands; posts about stoves appear on zweifelofenbau.ch.

03

Outcome

Both websites are live. The catalogue holds seven works from 2011 to 2026, among them the octopus that has hung at KARGO68 since August 2026.
