Platform, website and iOS app for a non-profit
For Frühchen & Neokinder Schweiz, the association for families whose child was born early or ill: a new website in three languages, a platform for families and peer parents, for professionals and for the core team, and an iOS app. Hosted in Switzerland.
Tech stack
Parents on a neonatal ward need reliable information and someone who has been through it. The association organises that with volunteers at nine hospital sites: rosters, visit reports, patron invoices, foundation applications. Much of it ran on spreadsheets and by hand, the old website on Joomla.
A platform with clear roles: parents and relatives sign up themselves, peer parents, professionals and patrons by invitation only. Families get a journal modelled on the printed Heldenkinder diary, a glossary, a hospital finder built on SwissNeoNet and peer support. The organisation gets a roster planner with calendar subscriptions, invoices with a Swiss QR bill and an agent that pre-fills foundation application forms. The old website, 73 pages and 34 stories, was carried over and rebuilt. Everything runs on a server at Infomaniak in Geneva; the iOS app is a native shell with push notifications.
The platform is in test operation, the new website is about to move to fruehchenschweiz.ch, and the iOS app is in TestFlight beta review. French and Italian are still being proofread.
Home repair platform
A photo, a video or a voice note: con.casa turns it into a job dossier that names the trade and the urgency and gives a cost range, and collects up to three quotes from tradespeople in the region. Plus company pages where trades take requests in their own brand.
Natural medicine platform
Naturex connects patients, therapists, pharmacies and drugstores in natural medicine: search, compare, book, video consultation. Describe your concern in your own words and get matching therapists from all over Switzerland. In German, French, Italian and English.
